Rupert Murdoch’s “Rosehearty” Sailing Yacht for Rent

Rupert Murdoch's yacht Rosehearty

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch is cashing in during the recession not only by renting out his New York home Rosehearty, but he is also making available for rent his beautiful sailing yacht of the same name.

The yacht is beautifully designed both on the outside and on the inside by Ron Holland, Perini Navi and Christian Liagre. It is 184 ft. in length, has five suites for up to ten guests and it is coming with tons of luxury toys and amenities, of course, including wireless Internet and several plasma TVs.

The Rosehearty sailing yacht can be yours for just €220,000 per week.

Everest Gigayacht to be huge

Rumors of a huge superyacht being built in Fort Lauderdale, Florida have been around for a while. Now, new details have surfaced and they’re nothing short of staggering: It has been reported that this new yacht, which is named Everest and designed by Donald Starkey, will be 656 ft. in length! You read that right. It would not only make it the world’s largest yacht, but it would also surpass Roman Abramovich’s new megayacht Eclipse by 100 ft.

Yachts of this size undoubtedly are superyachts, but they’re much bigger than about all other yachts currently on the market, so a new category will have to be introduced for them: Gigayachts.

We don’t have any photos of the yacht’s construction and we don’t know anything about its future owner, but we will keep you updated as soon as more information emerge.
