Determining the exact used boat prices can be cumbersome and result in losses if not done systematically. There are lots of people who sell their boats at the much lower price to a buyer because they are ignorant of the actual resale value of the old vessel. On the other hand, there are many buyers who end up paying a much higher price for a second hand craft for exactly the same reason. Therefore, having knowledge about the current trends is important to avoid such minor mistakes in the daily business. This information must be exact and not some estimate.

The Kingdom 5KR is a 281 foot superyacht (that’s about 86 meters). It was built by ship builder Benetti in 1980 and cost a reported $100 million to complete.
Today it is owned by Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, a member of the Saudi Royal Family. Previous owners were billionaires Adnan Khashoggi, the Sultan of Brunei and Donald Trump. Khashoggi sold the yacht to the Sultan of Brunei in 1988, who later resold it to real estate tycoon Donald Trump. Trump again sold the superyacht to its current owner. By the way, the yacht’s original name was Nabila, but it was renamed by its different owners.
The Kingdom 5KR ranked among the very largest yachts of the world at the time it was originally built in 1980. It was also used in the James Bond movie Never Say Never Again.
The interior is superb, of course, including a disco, cinema, several suites and a heliport. It requires a crew of about 50 people.

The history behind luxury mega yachts is not long but is impressive. The first incidences of these names coming up around the world in various publications such as magazines, books and other such journals was early in the 20th century. This happened because a lot of rich businessmen and traders started building their very own boats called yachts simply for pleasure and comfort. They were not ordinary yachts which were used for sailing but large, super sized boats. In fact these were not simple boats for the fun of sailing but actual moving homes with all the required facilities that are essential for living comfortably.
These days, spotting such a super boat is not an issue because of the rising popularity of wealthy men to buy such things for fun and entertainment. Unlike today, this was a rarity earlier and there were not many who were willing to spend huge amounts of money on a simple thing as a boat. But this trend has taken on a whole new meaning. Life at sea is considered a welcome change from the monotony life of the urban areas and congested cities. People feel that a getaway to the sea gives them the much desired change from this boring routine. In turn, a holiday on the yacht turns out to be the perfect weekend holiday for many business executives.

Although the chartering of a private yacht isn’t like visiting the beach or an amusement park, it is something that your family may love and enjoy.
Before further examining family vacations aboard privately chartered yachts, it is first important that you know what chartering a private yacht entails. If you weren’t already aware, the chartering of a private yacht is when you actually pay to have the yacht for a specific period of time. While this will sound a lot like renting, it isn’t exactly the same. See, when you charter a private yacht, you are not only getting the yacht, but a trained yacht staff. This staff is likely composed of a captain, as well as a number of other trained professionals. Essentially, this means that you get to sit back and basically do nothing, aside from enjoy your family vacation.
